Our season only runs from 25.7.25 - 31.8.25.

YES!

It might look big and scary but Flying Trapeze is actually quite safe. There's a risk of injury when participating in any sports or physical activity, but all  Beginner students are connected to safety lines for their entire time on the Flying Trapeze. 

We have an age restriction and a physical fitness restriction:

- All students must be 8+ years of age at the time of their class. There is no upper age limit as long as you are able bodied.

Fit and healthy - We do NOT require ANY athletic prowess to get you started on your Circus journey. We DO require you be physically healthy and able to complete our strength and fitness tests before the start of class. 

Our strength test - Students must be able to hang, straight armed, from a bar with their feet off of the floor, and support their own weight for 5 seconds or more. Just hang, no pull up ability is necessary.

Our fitness test - Students must able to climb the ladder to the platform by themselves. Students will be attached to a safety harness in case they fall, but it can't climb the ladder for you.

We aim to make Flying Trapeze and the Circus Arts as accessible as possible for all people. If you think you have any physical or mental condition that may affect your ability to participate please get in touch with our office and we'll do our best to make every accommodation possible to get you Flying through the air. 

For our Beginners and Mixed level classes - No! No experience required! Come join the fun with up to 9 other students as we teach you how to safely take to the skies!

For our Intermediate and Advanced classes - Yes. Previous experience is required. Please contact our office or a member of our staff if you would like to learn more about these requirements.

Yes! We'd love to help you celebrate your Birthday / Stag / Hen / Office Team Building / Club Social / Reunion! 

For larger group bookings please email our office and one our staff will be happy to see what we can offer.

PLEASE BE AWARE that we have a VERY STRICT, ZERO TOLERANCE policy for any use of drugs or alcohol. We keep a breathalyser on site. Anyone found to be intoxicated in any way will be prevented from participating in the class. No refund will be offered.

Toast your success after the class, not before. 

Flexible sports clothing that covers the knees, is advised for all Circus Classes. 

Leggings are every Circus persons best friend, but if this isn't the look you want to rock for your class, sweatpants and tracksuit pants also work fine.

Jeans, Skirts, Dresses and Kilts are not recommended. But as long as your outfit doesn't allow anything obscene to be displayed or physically intereferre with your physical ability, then you are very welcome to dress however you are most comfortable.

Everyone is welcome to come cheer and support both you and your dreams during an of our classes!

All class participants must be booked in, in advance. But if you want to bring a friend / significant other / photographer / camera crew /fan club with you then you are more than welcome to do so!

All classes are 2 hours long and include a warm up, expert tuition from at least 3 experienced Instructors, and as many goes on the Flying Trapeze as we can get you.

No. All students MUST complete a risk waiver form and deliver a physical copy to their Instructors before the start of class.

No exceptions are made to this rule for any reason. 

Only one waiver must be completed per student, per calendar year. You don't need to sign one for every class.

A little rain won't stop us for long. A lot of rain is a safety conern and will stop the class. We're no match for Mother Nature.

Any classes cancelled in advanced by BBFT will be eligible for a full refund and we'll try our best to rescehdule your booking if you wish.

If it rains during a Flying Trapeze class and the class is cancelled:

If 60 minutes or LESS have transpired - you will be eligible for a full refund
If 61 minutes or more of the class have transpired - you will NOT be eligible for a refund.

For our Aerial Classes the time policy is the same, but for 45 minutes of class.

We thank all of our customers in advance for sharing a portion of this uncontrollable risk with us. It costs us to run a class for any amount of minutes. Thank you for understanding. 

We put our first 2 weeks of classes up on our website well in advance. 

The remained of our classes will be posted up approximately 2 weeks in advance to allow as many people as possible to make a booking and prevent Ticketmaster from buying all our classes in advance. 

Our last classes are August 31st and we're already a little sad about that.

We're already working to expand our Summer Season for next year! If you know of anywhere that might be a suitable home for us, please get in touch and let us know.

All under 18's must be accompanied by a legal guardian for the duration of their class. 

We thoroughly encourage you to embrace this requirement as these will be memories that will last a life time!
